Intermediate Band Classes at Westside Atlanta Charter are offered by The Gift of Music Foundation to all students with at least one (1) school year of previous training on their instrument, either in our program or elsewhere.  The intermediate curriculum begins to explore more musical notes, rhythms, and concepts on each band instrument, which provides an opportunity for students to continue their growth as a musician, and sets them up for middle school band.  The curriculum also reinforces discipline and teamwork through the power of music!

 

Instruments Offered:  Flute, Clarinet, Saxophone, Trumpet, Trombone, Baritone, Tuba, Percussion.  Other instruments may be offered at the Lead Teacher's discretion. 

 

Access to Instruments Program:  Unless otherwise noted, obtaining the instrument for your child is the responsibility of the parent.  We have the most competitive instrument program in Atlanta, which includes needs based options to make sure every child has the chance to experience The Gift of Music!  Look for more information on this program in your welcome email.  www.giftofmusicinstruments.com 

 

Tuition is $500 for the 2022-23 School Year.  This is less than $10 per class! 

  • The first tuition payment of $50 is due at registration along with a $25 registration fee.
  • The remaining balance of $450 can be also paid at the time of registration, OR is automatically charged in eight (8) automatic monthly installments from October 5th 2022 to May 5th 2023.  
  • Tuition payments are not refundable.  If your student leaves the program before the end of the school year, we will stop future installments.

 

There are no classes on school holidays or if the school is closed for inclement weather.
